This meeting we took a look at the new SteamOS, the version used was YeOlde SteamOSe http://directhex.github.io/steamos-installer/ this was used as it had a regular Linux kernel not a cut down one like the official one. Overall most were impressed with the progress of the OS.
On Saturday 27th July 2013, RossLUG held a stand at Barcamp Blackpool to show off the LUG to other community members.
On 26th May 2013, RossLUG made the compulsary pilgrimage to the UK geek mecca, Bletchley Park and the National Museum of Computing.
